A global creative production hub is seeking a New Business Director for APAC to lead revenue growth and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience in new business and a strong understanding of the creative production environment. You will be responsible for developing new opportunities, delivering tailored pitches, and building a sustainable business pipeline. Flexibility in role structure is available, with an emphasis on creativity and long-term relationships.
The Shortlist is supporting recruitment for a global creative production hub working with brands, agencies, and publishers to create high-quality, creatively ambitious video content for international audiences.
Their output spans short-form social through to long-form, multi-channel campaigns, including branded content, documentary, corporate, and explainer films. They operate with a strong in-house creative and production team, alongside a carefully curated global community of filmmakers and production partners.

As New Business Director, APAC, you will lead the commercial function in the region.
You’ll be responsible for originating, shaping, and converting new business opportunities, bringing in the right briefs, building long-term client relationships, and helping define how the business shows up in the market.
This role sits at the intersection of creativity and commerce. You’ll work closely with senior creative, production, and leadership teams, acting as a trusted external face of the business while owning revenue performance in APAC.
