Network Engineer (12-month Contract)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer with strong expertise in firewall security, SD-WAN, data center infrastructure, and incident response. This role supports enterprise, cloud, and critical infrastructure environments with a strong focus on cybersecurity operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support secure LAN, WAN, and DC/DR network architectures.
• Configure and manage next-generation firewalls including Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco FTD.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM, firewall logs, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Perform system hardening and enforce security policies aligned with ISO frameworks.
• Implement VPN solutions (IPSec, SSL, DMVPN, GRE) and SD-WAN technologies.
• Administer NAC solutions including Cisco ISE and FortiNAC.
• Monitor nationwide or enterprise networks using SolarWinds and other monitoring tools.
• Conduct hardware/software upgrades, patch management, and configuration backups.
• Support security projects such as DC relocation, DR implementation, firewall migration, and NAC rollout.
• Maintain network documentation, SOPs, asset inventory, and UAT records.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Strong expertise in network security and firewall technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco FTD/FMC, F5
  • Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet network devices
• Experience with monitoring and security tools:
  • SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nessus, SIEM platforms
• Knowledge of data center, cloud, and enterprise security environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in shift‑based or on‑call environments if required.
