Technical Leadership
- Lead .NET 4.8 → .NET 8 modernization with microservices architecture.
- Design cloud‑native solutions on Azure (AKS, APIM, Azure SQL).
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and portals.
- Establish quality standards (>70% test coverage, code review, documentation).
- Champion best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement.
Hands‑On Development
- Architect and develop .NET 8 microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Implement testing frameworks and CI/CD automation.
- Architect and optimise SQL Server databases, queries and stored procedures.
- Containerize applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Plan, implement and use AI tools in the development process.
Team & Execution
- Mentor & manage 3‑5 developers.
- Drive project delivery on a fixed timeline with clear milestones.
- Communicate with stakeholders.
Essential
- 8+ years .NET development (.NET Framework & Core/6/8).
- 3+ years leading modernization/migration projects.
- Proven .NET 4.8 → .NET Core/8/9 migrations.
- Microservices architecture experience.
- Azure production experience (App Service, Azure SQL, AKS preferred).
- Team leadership (3‑5 developers minimum).
- SQL Server expertise (optimization, migration).
Technical Skills
- .NET 8 (or .NET 9), C#, ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Microservices patterns, RESTful API design.
- Testing (xUnit/NUnit), >70% coverage experience.
- Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
- Docker & Kubernetes basics.
- SOLID principles, design patterns.
Good to have
- Architect who codes (hands‑on).
- Migration expert (2+ successful projects).
- Quality focused (testing, documentation, best practices).
