We are searching for the best talent for National Sales Manager, Surgical Vision.

Purpose

J&J Surgical Vision is inviting highly motivated, tenacious and self‑starter talent to join our Singapore Commercial team! In this role, you play a meaningful role in achieving sales and driving share gain within our Singapore private and government Ophthalmology accounts in Cataract and Refractive segment.

You will be responsible for

Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully leading the commercial team. Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.

  • Leads the commercial operations of Cataract and Refractive businesses in Singapore
  • Defines the organization’s long‑range strategic plan and ensures that annual operating plan and objectives are achieved. Maintain market leadership position in Singapore Government tender (ALPS)
  • Establishes comprehensive business strategies and is responsible for all tactics required to achieve them.
  • Ensure inventory levels is aligned with In‑Market Sales.
  • Anticipates market trends and implements the required changes to meet customer needs.
  • Assesses market data, determines, and prioritizes potential market growth opportunities.
  • Implements and sustains business processes that ensure efficient execution of key business initiatives.
  • Lead, inspires and coach the commercial team and operates in a legal and ethical manner ensuring that products and services are marketed in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Builds and manages relationships with our distributors and decision‑makers in the local health care system, government agencies, regulatory bodies, key opinion leaders and community.
  • Actively manages operational aspect of distributor processes and work to optimize efficiency
  • Adheres to compliance standards, environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Science, Bio‑Science, Health‑Science or Pharmacy, Master in Business Administration is helpful
  • At least 5 up to 10 years’ working experience in healthcare or ophthalmology industry; preferably with experience from diagnostics/ medical device products
  • At least 3 years in leadership role leading a team
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory, QA and legal/policies/ environment relating to the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Working experience with multiple distributors
  • Driven, with ability to prioritize multiple projects and strong analytical and communication skill
  • Teammate that strives to maintain excellent working relationship while demonstrating strong, proven leadership qualities, driven by a passion to excel in a customer‑centric and innovative organization
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work and thrive in a multi‑cultural environment, as well as an ability to work in a matrix environment are required
  • Established network with relevant government agencies, key opinion leaders, Retail / Trade and Industry Associations and the respective Public Health Authorities
