The school combines global best practices with cutting-edge research in cognitive science and the art of teaching, creating a dynamic learning community that emphasizes academic excellence, character growth, and overall well-being.

Grounded in six core pillars — Learning How to Learn, Active Engagement, Growth Mindset, Real-World Application, Collaboration & Community, and Well-being & Thriving — the school offers an innovative, inquiry-driven, and experiential learning environment where every child is empowered to think critically, learn deeply, and thrive holistically.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Music Teacher to join this pioneering international school. The ideal candidate will inspire students through music, nurture creativity and self-expression, and contribute to the development of a vibrant and joyful school culture.

This role goes beyond traditional instruction. It calls for an educator who values curiosity, imagination, and authenticity, and who understands that great teaching blends rigor with joy and structure with play.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use differentiated and evidence-based teaching strategies to support diverse learners, including multilingual students.
  • Collaborate with classroom and subject teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary learning experiences.
  • Develop and apply meaningful formative and summative assessments to track student growth.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and joyful classroom culture that builds students’ confidence and appreciation for music.
  • Organize and support performances, concerts, and school events that celebrate student learning.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to provide constructive feedback and guidance on their child’s musical development.
  • Stay current on innovative teaching approaches and music pedagogy through continuous professional learning.
  • Contribute to the broader school community through collaboration, co‑curricular involvement, and a shared commitment to holistic education.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience teaching music in a primary or international school setting, ideally with exposure to lower primary grades.
  • Strong understanding of child development, differentiated instruction, and inquiry-based learning.
  • Experience in bilingual or international environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with global curricula such as Common Core, Cambridge, IB PYP, or AERO Standards.
  • Proven ability to create student-centered, engaging, and creative classroom experiences.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and cultivating a lifelong love of music.

Why Join This School
This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking school that reimagines learning for the 21st century. You will have the autonomy to design immersive, real-world experiences, collaborate with exceptional educators, and shape a school community that prioritizes curiosity, creativity, and care.

What’s Offered

  • A progressive and supportive teaching environment.
  • Opportunities for continuous professional growth and development.
  • The chance to help build a new kind of learning experience that blends global excellence with local purpose.
