Job summary

A global biopharmaceutical company is seeking a motivated MSAT Chemist to enhance existing processes and develop new product processes at their Singapore manufacturing site. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and optimizing plant processes, maintaining compliance documentation, and supervising junior staff. Candidates should hold a degree in Chemistry and have experience within a laboratory environment. Knowledge of GMP and analytical chemistry is essential for this role. Qualifications

  • Experience in a laboratory environment in the pharmaceutical industry is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and conduct experimental work for process improvement.
  • Troubleshoot plant/process issues to resolve batch salvage.
  • Maintain documentation compliant with GMP/GLP.
  • Supervise technicians and junior staff.
  • Act as product custodian and provide technical support.
  • Support routine manufacture of products.
  • Evaluate raw material and liaise with suppliers.
  • Support change implementation and continuous process verification.
  • Provide technical support for process decontamination activities.

Skills

Knowledge of organic chemistry
Knowledge of analytical chemistry
Knowledge of cGMP/GLP
Good communication skills

Degree in Chemistry or equivalent
