Job summary

A vehicle repair service provider in Singapore is looking for an experienced Claims Executive to advise customers on insurance claims and repairs. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of car components and claims processes. This role involves liaising with customers and insurers to facilitate smooth repair processes, ensuring timely settlement of claims.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Good organisational skills and a team player.
  • Clear communication skills with customers and insurance surveyors.
  • Knowledge of car components and repairs for accident cars.
  • Experience with insurance motor claims processes with various agencies.
  • Basic computer skills in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Advise policyholders on accident repairs and claims.
  • Submit accident reports and liaise with customers and insurers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Advise policyholders and claimants on policy for accident repairs and claims related matters.
  • Make and submit accident reports and liaison between customers and insurance companies for repairs and claims.
  • Negotiate and settle claims with Third Party claimants, insurers, lawyers and the workshop accurately.
  • Co-ordination of work required with panel beaters and painters.
  • Liaise and follow up closely with the Parts dept and Workshop team on progress of repairs and deliver quality repairs.
  • Monitoring and review of claims, filing, tracking and settlement in a timely manner.

Requirements
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
  • Good organisational Skills, Team Player, Aptitude for Problem Solving.
  • Clear communication skills with both external and internal customers, as well as with insurance surveyors.
  • Good knowledge of car components and able to access repairs required for accident cars.
  • Experienced in insurance motor claims processes with various agencies and their appointed systems, e.g. Audatex, Merimen.
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge in MS Excel and workshop DMS system.
