Job description
What the role is:

As a MOE Kindergarten Teacher (with Signing Competencies), you will work with all children, with special focus on children diagnosed with Hearing Loss (HL). You will play a key role in providing our young with an enriched learning experience, nurturing their social skills and preparing them for lifelong learning. You will plan and deliver education programmes to foster holistic learning and development for the children and be involved in parent and community engagement.

What you will be working on:
  • Plan, organise and deliver the curriculum and programmes, including the programme for children diagnosed with Hearing Loss (HL)
  • Support the development and implementation of teaching approaches and preparation of learning materials and resources
  • Provide a conducive and positive learning environment
  • Ensure children’s well‑being and safety
  • Engage parents and education partners, such as early intervention providers and therapists
  • Monitor and document children’s learning and growth
What we are looking for:
  • Proficient in signing, such as Singapore Sign Language, Signing Exact English etc.
  • Commitment to the development and well‑being of children.

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching (DECCE‑T); or an equivalent qualification. Note: While the MK Teacher role is a rewarding one, it also comes with expectations and demands at work.
