Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise mechanical contractors to ensure safe, timely, and high‑quality plant maintenance, modification, and construction works.

  • Work closely with plant operations and cross‑functional maintenance teams to execute maintenance activities without compromising safety or plant integrity.

  • Conduct mechanical studies and implement modifications aligned with technical and business requirements.

  • Perform technical investigations on equipment issues, analyse findings, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff and contractors to elevate technical skills and competency.

  • Attend to plant emergencies and resolve mechanical issues promptly.

  • Support the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and SS651 management systems.

Key Requirements
  • Diploma (Supervisor Level) or Degree (Engineer Level) in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sector.

  • Strong hands‑on experience in troubleshooting and repairing rotating and static equipment — pumps, compressors, blowers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and more.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic SAP knowledge is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical ability, problem‑solving mindset, and effective communication skills with both internal teams and contractors.

  • A collaborative attitude with strong teamwork spirit.
