Job summary

A recruitment consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to manage project execution in data center environments. Qualifications

• Experience in data center or DFMA environment required.

• Knowledge of retrofit, renovation, lighting control and BMS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress of the project and report to the Project Manager.

Overview

Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Client/Consultant/contractors to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assignment.
• Report and monitor of progress of project to Project Manager.
• Supervise works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.
• Prepare method statement, shop drawings, installations / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on preparation and submission of shop drawings.
• Coordinate / prepare technical submissions with suppliers / subcontractors.
• Assist negotiate on procure materials, equipment and labour in accordance to budget.
• Meeting with various stakeholders to resolve technical / site issues.
• Work on shop drawings/equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in working at Data Center or in DFMA environment
• Familiar with VAV / VRV / cooling tower / Chillers / chilled water pipe / A&A works.
• Familiar with retrofit / renovation / lighting control / BMS.
