Job Title: MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Salary Range: SGD 3,100 – 3,900

Working Location: Loyang

Working Hours:

Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Job Description:

We are looking for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER to support plant operations by ensuring machinery reliability, safety, and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for minimizing machine downtime and contributing to the achievement of maintenance KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve overall machine uptime and support maintenance department KPIs
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on plant machinery
• Record, maintain, and update machine breakdown reports promptly
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective countermeasures
• Monitor, maintain, and perform monthly stock checks of critical spare parts
• Liaise with machine suppliers and agents for repair and maintenance works
• Carry out calibration and verification of machine equipment
• Test, maintain, and ensure all machine safety systems are in proper working condition
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field
• Relevant experience in plant or industrial machinery maintenance preferred
• Able to work rotating shifts (day and night)
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and safety standards
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
