Job Description
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers, providing mentorship, guidance and performance feedback.
  • Set clear goals, priorities and expectations to ensure alignment with project and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee multiple projects from planning to execution, including resource allocation and timeline management.
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, assemblies, and fixtures.
  • Review and approve design concepts, detailed drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production.
  • Oversee design documentation, 3D modeling, detailed drawings, BOM creation, and configuration control
  • Good knowledge of wide spectrum of material science and engineering.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in design and development.
  • Continuously improve design processes, toolsets, and team capabilities.
  • Drive design reviews, risk assessments (DFMEA), tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA practices, and root cause investigations.
  • Performing any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
