Job description

Responsibilities

• Engage in mechanical engineering design tasks, perform calculations, and prepare bills of materials.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve technical queries and ensure project requirements are met.
• Assist in the development and submission of design and construction documentation.
• Conduct technical evaluations and provide clarifications to clients and vendors.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive and integrated project designs.
• Support site activities including construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Define and understand the company’s scope of work for each assigned project.
• Address and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
• Track and manage the progress of document submissions.
• Handle basic drafting work and provide guidance to drafters to ensure drawing accuracy.

Requirements:

• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Solid foundation in mechanical design principles.
• Knowledge of HVAC system design, including cooling load calculations, pressure drop analysis, and duct sizing.
• Hands‑on experience with HVAC and ductwork installation.
• Proficient in interpreting and producing P&ID, air flow, and DID drawings.
• Familiar with basic pipe sizing, selection, and installation techniques.
• Basic understanding of fire suppression systems.
• Skilled in using AutoCAD for mechanical drafting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
