Job summary

A leading aviation supply company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated inventory control specialist. You will be responsible for ensuring parts availability, issuing purchase orders, and managing inventory to meet production targets. The ideal candidate must possess good knowledge in engine build specifications, be meticulous, and excel in interpersonal and communication skills. A collaborative, result-oriented approach is essential for success in this fast-paced environment. Salary ranges from S$2,800 to S$3,500.

  • Ensure parts availability and optimal inventory control.

  • Liaise with vendors on defective parts.
  • Participate in procurement and inventory control improvement projects.

Job description

Work Location: East

Working Hour/Day: 7:30am to 4:48pm / Mon - Fri

Job Descriptions
  • Responsible for ensuring parts availability and contribute to optimal inventory control to meet monthly engine production targets
  • Issuing of purchase orders and management of parts for New, Overhaul, Exchange or Repair to ensure an effective linear flow of materials needed for engines at assembly
  • Monitor part shortages and delivery to meet engine production targets
  • Review and carry out appropriate action for open purchase orders
  • Reconciliation of invoices discrepancies (DFM)
  • Liaise with vendors on defect parts for resolution (DR report)
  • Participate in projects leading to procurement and inventory control improvement
  • Work in accordance with accepted safe and environmental practices
  • Report unsafe conditions and practices
  • Support achievement of EH&S goals and objectives
  • Comply with EH&S rules, policies and procedures
  • Attend required trainings
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Preferably have good knowledge in engine build specs and parts conformity
  • Meticulous and detail oriented
  • Is a team player, result-oriented and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment
  • Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills (English), spoken and written
