About the Role

We are seeking a Managing Director – Singapore to lead our business and drive growth in one of Egis’ most dynamic markets. The primary purpose of this position is to create an engaged, profitable and high-performing business through strong leadership, market influence and operational oversight.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and executing a clear country strategy aligned with APAC and global priorities.
  • Building trusted relationships with government, industry bodies, clients and partners.
  • Driving financial performance in collaboration with Business Line leaders to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Acting as the primary representative of Egis in Singapore, strengthening our brand and market presence.
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive and accountable culture by supporting, coaching and empowering teams.
  • Championing safety, wellbeing and sustainability across the business.
  • Leading the Singapore Senior Leadership Team and collaborating closely with APAC colleagues.
  • Supporting client management and business development to expand opportunities for Egis.
  • This role reports to the CEO – APAC.
What do we need from you
  • Ideally, you will have extensive senior leadership experience in complex organisations, with a proven track record of business growth, market positioning and delivering financial and operational outcomes.
  • You will also have:
  • In depth knowledge of the Singapore market in engineering, advisory, project management or operations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with government, industry and clients.
  • Experience managing across functions in a matrix organisation.
  • Demonstrated success in pursuit management, sales strategies and client relationship development.
  • A commitment to developing teams, empowering leaders and fostering inclusion.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with high commercial awareness.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business or a related discipline (preferred).
