Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience in Special Education, Nursing, Counselling, Care Services, or community work with youth/adults with autism is highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience in programme management, operations, or leadership roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise centre operations, ensuring the safety, welfare, and holistic development of learners.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of educational, community, vocational, therapeutic, and training programmes.
  • Collaborate with external partners and community stakeholders for integration initiatives.

Become an integral part of our team at Connexions Integrated Learning Hub, contributing positively to the lives of young adults with autism. We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Manager of Operations & Programmes to lead our centre’s initiatives, ensuring high-quality care, effective programming, and strong community engagement.

Role Overview: As the Manager of Operations & Programmes, you will play a pivotal role in managing the centre’s operations, programmes, and partnerships. You will oversee daily operations, guide the development and implementation of educational and therapeutic programmes, and work closely with stakeholders to enhance the learning experience and overall well‑being of our learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise centre operations, ensuring the safety, welfare, and holistic development of learners at all times.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of educational, community, vocational, therapeutic, and training programmes tailored to learners’ individual needs.
  • Collaborate with external partners and community stakeholders to design and execute community integration initiatives and programmes.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of training materials, ensuring resources are up‑to‑date and readily available.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and confidentiality within the centre.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships and communication with learners’ families.
  • Monitor and assess learner engagement and performance, maintaining accurate records and overseeing Individualised Performance Plans (IPPs), attendance, and progression tracking.
  • Manage the general administration of centre operations efficiently.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to centre staff, fostering teamwork and continuous professional development.
  • Be a compassionate and patient leader dedicated to supporting youth/adults with autism.

Qualifications & Experience:
