About ALPS

About The Role

As the Logistics Manager in ALPS, you will be based in one of the 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for the logistics support and inventory control within the PHI. Leading a team, you will provide proactive planning and coordination of logistics operations while ensuring inventory accountability and system accuracy. You will also communicate closely with hospital users to support in the hospital’s daily operations for patients’ care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities.
  • Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
  • Tracking and coordinating the receiving, storage, timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Checking of orders, inventory and deliveries for accuracy.
  • Maintaining records and provide timely update.
  • Perform daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
  • Coordinate and maintain the readiness of the equipment and tools for work.
  • Ensure audit readiness on responsible areas.
  • Ensure maintenance of standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work with Logistics Lead to review and update the logistics policies and procedures.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Reporting Office.
Requirements

  • Knowledge in SAP, WMS or Ariba will be an added advantage.
