Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced professional to manage and review full sets of accounts for a dedicated client portfolio. This role involves guiding a team, ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, handling payroll processing, and responding to audit queries. The ideal candidate will have a professional accounting qualification, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills to liaise with clients and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Experience with payroll administration and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.

Job Description
  • Prepare and review full sets of accounts and compilation reports for a dedicated client portfolio, ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and tax regulations.
  • Lead and guide a team servicing multiple client portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of accounting, payroll, and statutory reporting services.
  • Review unaudited financial statements and XBRL filings.
  • Handle year-end account closing and respond to audit and tax queries from auditors, tax agents, and regulators.
  • Oversee payroll processing, CPF submissions, and statutory payroll reporting for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Provide technical guidance on Singapore accounting standards, payroll practices, and corporate tax matters to team members and clients.
  • Prepare and follow up on fee proposals, supporting the onboarding of new client companies and the expansion of services.
  • Manage portfolio billing, collections, and revenue performance, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, reporting timelines, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification from a recognised accounting body (e.g., ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, deliver quality work, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in an outsourced accounting or professional services environment is preferred.
