A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking an Air & Sea Operations Manager to oversee freight operations at Changi Airfreight Centre. The role involves managing air import/export operations and overseeing sea freight logistics. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of freight forwarding experience and a solid understanding of air cargo procedures. Proficiency in business English and familiarity with CargoWise or EDI systems are preferred. The position requires flexibility in working hours and involves both office and on-site responsibilities.

Air Freight Operations
Manage end-to-end air import and export operations (Booking, AWB, MAWB/HAWB)
Liaise closely with airlines, ground handling agents (GHA), warehouses (CFS), and customs brokers
Coordinate flight schedules and handle urgent shipments (Express, DG, Pharma)
Sea Freight Operations
Oversee FCL and LCL import/export operations
Handle carrier bookings, Bills of Lading, and shipment schedules
Manage transshipment and cross-border movements
Control port-related costs including THC, detention, and demurrage
General Responsibilities
Act as the main operations contact for customers, handling schedules, rates, and issues
Maintain and improve SOPs
Monitor KPIs, cost control, and productivity
Manage shipment claims (damage, delays, shortages)
Minimum 5–10 years of freight forwarding operations experience
Hands‑on experience in both air and sea freight operations
Strong understanding of Singapore air cargo procedures
(Air Cargo Security, CAAS regulations, Changi Airport processes)
Proficient in business English (email, calls, and customer meetings)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling DG, Pharma, or Project Cargo
Familiarity with CargoWise or EDI systems
Experience managing Korean, Chinese, or Southeast Asian accounts
Working Hours:
Typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Flexibility required to handle early morning, late night, or urgent operational issues
Work Nature:
Combination of office-based and on‑site cargo terminal work
Airport access pass required
Ability to multi‑task
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
