Key Highlights:
  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday

  • Be a part of a team to support subsidy applications with appeals for families and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and log online subsidy applications via the organisation’s application portal.
  • Assess applicant eligibility for fee assistance, start-up grants, holiday subsidies and related charges using scheme guidelines.
  • Contact applicants or service operators when additional information or verification is needed.
  • Enter and update case records in the case management system.
  • Make evidence-based recommendations to approve or decline applications.
  • Forward assessed applications to the authorised approver for final sign-off.
  • Process withdrawal requests and arrange subsidy refunds where applicable.
  • Handle appeals for higher subsidy levels and requests for attendance-rate waivers.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to apply operating procedures, guidelines and workflow instructions accurately.
  • Comfortable using IT systems and online processes for case handling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to multitask and maintain diligence in a fast-moving work environment.
  • Good time management and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication.
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team to deliver prompt service.
