Job summary

An international company in the life-science sector in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support ongoing transformation projects. The role involves performing calibration and maintenance of lab equipment, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating equipment servicing. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant diploma and have 1-2 years of experience. This is a 1-year contract position with a 5-day work week and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration, testing, and maintenance of lab equipment according to standards.
  • Plan and coordinate equipment servicing to avoid downtime across teams/business units.
  • Keep accurate records of calibration results, certificates, and equipment history.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and arrange vendor repair or servicing when needed.
  • Manage spare parts and supplies, support daily operations, and ensure a safe work environment.

Our client is an US MNC, one of the largest players in the life-science sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting for Maintenance Technician to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects.

This is a 1 Year contract (Convertible) role. They are located at Buona Vista – Walking distance from the MRT station.

5 days work week - Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 5.30pm)

Duties
  • Perform calibration, testing, and maintenance of lab equipment according to standards.
  • Plan and coordinate equipment servicing to avoid downtime across teams/business units.
  • Keep accurate records of calibration results, certificates, and equipment history.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and arrange vendor repair or servicing when needed.

Requirements
