Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with CNC Lathe machining.
• Experience in a precision manufacturing environment (Semiconductor, Medical, Defence etc.) is a plus.

Job Description:

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines (e.g. Youji).
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T and technical documentation.
• Load raw materials and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (Calipers, Micrometer, etc).
• Optimize and adjust machine settings and tool paths to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues during production.
• Maintain detailed production records, logs and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance and production team for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and shop floor best practices.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands‑on experience with CNC Lathe machining.
• Experience in a precision manufacturing environment (Semiconductor, Medical, Defence etc.) is a plus.
• Proficiency in G‑code programming and operation of CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360 or similar).
• Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, GD&T and CAD/CAM files.
• Familiar with tool selection, feed/speed calculations and tool wear compensation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work on‑site at Changi North Crescent.
