Job summary

A materials technology firm in Singapore is seeking a Process Engineer (Machining) – Sputtering Target to optimize machining processes and support new product introduction. The role demands strong engineering principles, experience in machining operations, and the ability to enhance production efficiency. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in the field. The successful individual will also be responsible for documentation, training production staff, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience as a Junior Executive in Industrial Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage machining processes for optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain Process Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide training to production operators on approved procedures.
  • Review Manufacturing Orders and ensure compliance with process requirements.
  • Update engineering drawings and ensure accuracy.
  • Set daily production targets and manage workflow.
  • Monitor production schedules for on-time output.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and follow-up actions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot process engineering issues.
