A leading equipment manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to actively participate in the hands-on assembly of machines. The role includes meeting production targets by ensuring quality and reliability, reading mechanical drawings, and complying with safety regulations. Responsibilities also involve quality control inspections, maintenance tasks, and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives in the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Manufacturing Manager and involve actively in hands‑on assembly of machines.
• Ensure that production targets are met in terms of production cost, delivery lead‑time, quality and reliability of machines.
• Read mechanical drawings.
• Perform precision lapping and polishing processes.
• Comply with all workshop procedures and safety regulations.
• Liaise with other personnel on production status and quality issues.
• Perform mechanical fitting job, machine assembly, and maintenance.
• Final packaging and transportation of machines.
• Conduct Quality Control Inspection.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S.
• Provide improvement suggestions monthly for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that production targets are met in terms of production cost, delivery lead‑time, quality and reliability of machines with proper packaging before delivery.
• To read mechanical drawing.
• Perform precision lapping and polishing process with machines.
• Comply with all workshop procedures, safety regulations, directives and work instructions.
• Liaison with other personnel on production status, engineering matters, material supply, testing and quality issues for machine rectification and improvement.
• Perform mechanical fitting job, machine assembly and maintenance, which requires knowledge of machine fits and tolerances.
• Final packaging and transportation of machines upon completion.
• Quality Control Inspection.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S and to provide improvement suggestions monthly for continuous improvement.
• Other ad‑hoc duty as required, including R&D projects.
