Job summary

A leading energy company in Singapore is looking for a Machine Operator to perform operations and quality checks on gas turbine blades. Candidates should have a secondary education, preferably an NITEC in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, and 3 years of relevant experience. This position requires shift work and training will be provided for specific machine operations.

• NITEC in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• 3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred.

Job Description Summary

Perform machine operations and water flow test for gas turbine blades. This person will report to the Operations Leader.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Set up and operate machines (such as shop peen, cold spray, backflush and moment weighing) as assigned for repairing of gas turbine blades (training will be provided for the specialized machines)

• Perform quality check after the process

• Ensure following instructions and comply all quality requirements

• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and employee’s EHS responsibilities

• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules

• Perform tasks as assigned by work leader, supervisor or engineers

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary level or higher education

• NITEC in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred

• 3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position. Candidates without relevant experience will also be considered as on the job training will be provided.

• Able to perform rotating shift
