Job summary

A leading facilities management company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to carry out routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs for building M&E systems. The ideal applicant should have a Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields and at least 2 years of relevant experience in facilities management. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical systems, monitoring alarms, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position may require 24/7 duty roster participation during emergencies.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or facilities management.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

• Carry out routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs for building M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and basic carpentry
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults in electrical circuits, panels, motors, pumps and other building equipment
• Support inspections, testing and servicing of lifts, generators and UPS systems
• Monitor Building Management System (BMS) and respond promptly to alarms, system irregularities and power or equipment failures
• Operate building systems safely and ensure accurate recording of operational readings and conditions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements and internal SOPs
• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists and technical documentation, and support audits and inspections
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair works
• Support facilities operations during shutdowns, renovations and new system installations
• Liaise with tenants or occupants to minimize disruption during maintenance activities
• Provide emergency response support for M&E breakdowns and participate in standby or 24/7 duty roster when required

Requirements
