Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking an experienced M&E Manager. The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing all M&E activities in construction projects. Job Descriptions

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all M&E activities from design development through installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Coordinate M&E works with architectural, structural, and civil teams to avoid clashes and delays
  • Review shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and value engineering exercises
  • Supervise M&E subcontractors and ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications
  • Monitor site progress and ensure M&E works align with overall project schedules
  • Resolve technical issues and site constraints related to M&E systems
  • Ensure proper sequencing of M&E works with other trades
  • Assist in M&E budgeting, cost control, and variation management
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and support procurement activities
  • Monitor material deliveries and ensure compliance with approved specifications
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Ensure all M&E works comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce safe work practices
  • Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and statutory inspections
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, authorities, and suppliers
  • Attend progress meetings and prepare M&E reports
  • Support client inspections and authority approvals


Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services
