Job Summary:

The Inbound Supervisor plays a critical role in optimizing the inbound supply chain process, ensuring the timely and efficient receipt of goods. This position is responsible for overseeing the inbound logistics operations, managing a team of warehouse assistants, and collaborating with internal teams and various stakeholders to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise Operations: Manage and lead a team of warehouse assistants ensuring a smooth and efficient inbound supply chain process.
  2. Inventory Control: Implement effective inventory management practices to ensure the stocks are optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent overstock or stockouts.
  3. Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve inbound logistics performance, such as on-time deliveries, order accuracy, and cost per unit received.
  4. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance inbound logistics processes to drive efficiency and productivity improvements.
  5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the inbound supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as customer Relation team, and Outbound, to ensure alignment in supply chain goals and objectives.
  7. Team Development: Provide training and mentorship, to team members to foster their professional growth and enhance their performance.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inbound logistics management, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management best practices.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in logistics.
