Job Description
- Logistics Operation Management - Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily logistics operations including warehousing, inventory control, transportation, and end to end supply chain activities
- Process Improvement – Conduct regular reviews of standard operating procedures to identify and implement enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness in logistics operations
- Vendor Coordination and Cost Optimization - Liaise with logistics providers and freight to obtain competitive quotations for project bids and sales tenders. Oversee freight management, customs clearance, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations to minimize costs
- Service & Issues Resolution - Manage logistics-related inquiries and complaints. Lead root cause investigations in collaboration with relevant departments, ensure timely communication of updates, and follow through with corrective actions. Work closely with Global HQ, regional offices, sales teams, and Shared Service Centers (SSC) to expedite shipments and resolve issues
- Initiative Support - Contribute to the execution of global and local logistics initiatives such as HS Code and tariff standardization, Asia Road Network (ARN) implementation, modal shifts to ocean freight, and eco-friendly or optimized packing methods to improve cost and network efficiency
- Stakeholder Training and Support - Provide training, operational guidance, and process support to SSC teams and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent adherence to logistics policies and procedures
- Cost Monitoring & Reporting - Track and consolidate monthly logistics-related cost savings for both the company and its affiliates. Report progress to Global Business Services (GBS) HQ as required
- Audit & Compliance - Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g. customs, trade, and shipping laws) in all logistics operations. Support internal and external audits including statutory, JSOX, and MES renewals by providing accurate and timely documentation
- Project & Administrative Support: Assist with ad hoc logistics tasks and contribute to cross-functional projects and improvement initiatives as needed
Job Responsibilities
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management/ Engineering/Business or a related field
- Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP) is a plus
- 5-6 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably in a senior capacity with 3PL exposure
- Experience managing or collaborating with multiple 3PL providers
- Experience in import and export documentation/ permit/ licensing
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics principles and trade compliance
- Proficient in logistics management systems (e.g., SAP S4HAHA, EWM, Oracle)
- Knowledge of customs, international shipping, or e-commerce fulfillment
- Familiarity with JSOX compliance, export control regulations, and quality management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerApps and Power Automate
