Job description
Responsibilities
Input each pre-alert received (Mawb, BL, Courier waybills, and D.O. care-off parties) into the LMS software and Excel list.
Create labels for every shipment.
Enter all shipments that have been received (updating the Excel spreadsheet and LMS software).
Put all paperwork in the appropriate vessel file.
Verify and organise the upcoming day's supplies to the ship.
Create a packing list before packing.
For deliveries the following day, print the delivery note.
Prepare the landing permit for the boarding officer.
Pack and check (aided by warehouse personnel).
Ensure every package is marked and has a photo taken for documentation.
Update the warehouse loading sheet with location details.
After packing, keep everything safe and tidy.
Communicate with every Care-Off party present at the barge terminal (Loading Information).
Turn over delivery files to operations by 16:30 hours on the next day (daily).
Help the logistics manager with any shipments that are leaving.
Assemble and send shipments using courier services.
Update the daily Portnet vessel schedule.
Print GST permits and send them to the accounting department.
Advise on shipping for every export shipment.
Sort D.O. and manage the C/O party's petty cash collection.
Make and receive calls from cared parties (24 hours).
Include billing and filing.

N level / ITC certification minimum.
Two years at least of experience in logistics administration.
