TALENT-MERGE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage local and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of local and international shipping, import/export docs, customs clearance, and inventory management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP or logistics systems is a plus.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate local and international shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Arrange freight forwarding, courier services, and transport; monitor shipments to completion.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, permits, etc.).
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers to resolve shipping needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of spare parts and materials.
  • Manage receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch with accurate records.
  • Coordinate with service engineers to prepare and dispatch equipment and parts.
  • Support import/export processes including customs clearance and compliance.
  • Review logistics arrangements and identify efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain logistics records, shipment trackers, and stock status reports.

Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and oversee local and international shipments of equipment, spare parts, tools, and materials to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  2. Arrange freight forwarding, courier services, transportation, and collection activities while monitoring shipments through to successful delivery.
  3. Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, permits, and other import/export documents.
  4. Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, couriers, suppliers, and customers to address shipment requirements and resolve logistics-related issues.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the replenishment, movement, and availability of spare parts and materials required for service operations.
  6. Manage the receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  7. Coordinate with service engineers and internal departments to ensure equipment, tools, and spare parts are prepared and dispatched according to operational schedules.
  8. Support import and export processes, including customs clearance and compliance with applicable shipping and trade documentation requirements.
  9. Review logistics arrangements and identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, inventory accuracy, freight costs, and overall operational processes.
  10. Maintain comprehensive logistics records, shipment trackers, inventory reports, and supporting documentation while providing regular updates on delivery and stock status.

Requirements

  1. Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  2. At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, warehousing, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
  3. Good working knowledge of local and international shipping procedures, import/export documentation, customs clearance, and inventory management.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with experience using ERP, inventory, or logistics management systems being advantageous.
  5. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple shipments and operational priorities independently.
