Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to arrange daily shipments, coordinate with forwarders, and prepare shipping documents for machine shipments. You will handle crating, forklift coordination, fumigation arrangements and packaging of spare parts, ensuring accuracy of invoices, packing lists, delivery orders and origin certificates.

Applicants should have 2+ years in shipping functions and a Diploma or degree in supply chain.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in shipping functions
• Diploma or degree in supply chain
• Experience liaising with freight forwarders is preferred

Responsibilities

• Arrange daily shipment and coordinate with forwarders.
• Arrange and liaise with Freight Forwarders on shipping bookings and complete shipping documents.
• Pre-advise complete set of shipping documents to internal and external customers.
• Handle shipment for all machines including crating and forklift coordination.
• Handle all shipping activities and processing of shipping documents.
• Arrange fumigation of crates as required.
• Prepare shipping documents such as shipping invoice, packing list, delivery order, origin certificate, etc.
• Prepare, package and dispatch spare parts as required by marketing/sales.

Job description

• Arrange daily shipment and coordinate with forwarders.
• Arrange and liaise with Freight Forwarders on shipping bookings, follow-up on complete set of shipping documents.
• Pre-advise complete set of Shipping Documentations to internal and external Customers.
• Handle Shipment for all machines model, including crating and fork-lift arrangement and coordination
• Handle all shipping activities and processing of shipping documents
• Arrange fumigation of crate as required
• Prepare shipping documents such as shipping invoice, credit note, packing list, delivery order, certificate of origin, etc
• Prepare, packaging and send the spare parts require support for customer as per marketing department request
• Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Morethan 2 years of working experience in shipping functions
• Diploma or degree in supply chain functions
