Job summary

A leading elevator company in Singapore is seeking a technician to perform testing and commissioning works on lifts and escalators. Candidates should have a NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Performing Adjustment, Testing and Commissioning works on Lift and Escalator
• Ensure all Lifts & Escalators installed are safe for public usage through stringent quality checks
• Carry out Testing of Lift & Escalator in accordance with company guidelines and to fully comply with local building code and regulation
• Complete all required documentations of test carried out for submission
• Record abnormalities or defective parts for rectification or replacement works to be carried out
• Other duties as required

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least a NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or NITEC in Building Environment (Vertical Transportation) or equivalent
• Preferably with Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in engineering sector
• Physically fit and able to work in a Building Construction environment
• Required to work at height and wear all necessary safety PPE
• Required to move and carry heavy test weights
• Must be able to work in a team
• Candidate to be Mature, Responsible and Disciplined
