As a Lead or Senior Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how technology supports and transforms public sector services. You’ll lead the design of complex systems used at national scale, provide strategic technical direction, and ensure that modern, secure, and scalable architectures are implemented across government programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the direction for enterprise-wide technical strategy and system architecture across multiple agencies.
• Advise on large-scale technology transformations from early-stage planning through to delivery.
• Design innovative, secure solutions that align with government frameworks and standards.
• Provide architectural leadership on major public sector programs, working across disciplines and stakeholders.
• Develop governance models and best practices that enable future‑ready, maintainable systems.
• Act as a mentor to engineers and technical leads, fostering growth and knowledge‑sharing.

• Over 15 years in enterprise tech, including substantial experience in architectural leadership.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Java and Python, with a deep understanding of enterprise‑grade systems.
• Proven success delivering complex, high‑scale solutions in a secure and regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of modern architectures, cloud platforms, APIs, and integration methods.
• Experience engaging senior leaders and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
• A track record of building and leading capable, high‑performing engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, especially at executive levels.
