Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in ship repair work.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Knowledge of shipyard safety procedures and permit systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily ship repair activities onboard vessels.
• Lead and control repair crews including welders and mechanics.
• Ensure correct use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Enforce safety rules and safe working practices.
• Report daily progress and issues to the Supervisor.

Skills

Technical knowledge in ship repair or marine engineering
