Job summary

A leading gaming technology company is seeking a Lead Senior IT Executive in Singapore. This role involves overseeing IT project deployments, managing network and server setups, and supporting IT infrastructure upgrades. The ideal candidate has 5-6 years of experience in system integration, extensive knowledge of networking and hardware, especially with Dell and Cisco, and strong project management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for IT project deployment including server, storage, network switch setup & implementation in both physical and virtualization environments.
  • Assist in support & upgrading of IT Infrastructure, servers, and security measures in systems and networking.
  • Responsible for VM, PC, laptop setup; User and Email account creation; Antivirus system setup & monitoring.
  • Responsible for on-site and off-site data & VM backup and restoration.
  • Maintain/update proper records and documentation of IT projects, IT assets, and inventory.
  • Provide any other IT support as may be required, such as remote office and remote user support.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in IT/Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5–6 years working experience in System Integration and Network Administration.
  • Familiar with Dell PowerEdge series hardware, Storage, RAID, Synology NAS (MUST); hands‑on experience in setting up Cisco switches/router is an advantage.
  • Familiar with Linux (preferable Fedora, Ubuntu), Samba, and ACL (MUST).
  • Familiar with Windows Server 2016/2012 (R2)/2008 (R2) and VMware vSphere 5.x/6.x (MUST); in‑depth understanding of vSphere host and VM limits, performance, and version conversion is an advantage.
  • Familiar with MS SQL Server, MySQL is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of intranet/internet apps, CMS, Google G‑Suite; in‑depth knowledge of Google G‑Suite is an advantage.
  • Hands‑on experience setting up and managing firewalls, VLANs and good knowledge of network security (advantage).
  • Hands‑on experience managing APC UPS (advantage).
  • Excellent customer‑service attitude and good communication skills.
  • Excellent project‑management skills.
