Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audits on Repair Source Substantiation (RSS) packages to verify repair characteristic accountability.
- Review RSS audit results to identify trends and coordinate continuous improvement plans to improve NPI quality and first‑time yield.
- Develop quality system procedures for NPI process to ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency of NPIs delivered by Engineering team.
- Track and monitor post‑introduction NPIs for quality issues and drive Engineering / Shop for follow‑up improvements.
- Act as a focal point for all NPI‑related queries and clarifications about Quality/regulatory requirements.
- Support conduct of shop internal audit plan as necessary.
- Drive and promote Quality culture and participate in EHS and other shop initiatives as necessary.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years relevant aerospace experience in repair/manufacturing or a quality assurance role.
- Knowledge of general aviation legislation and quality systems (ISO9001/AS9100).
- Knowledge of repair/manufacturing fundamentals.
- Holds a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma quality concepts and tools.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Basic knowledge of PC software (Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge of manufacturing special processes (heat treat, welding, shot peening, coating, chemical processes, non‑conventional machining).
- Knowledge of RCCA/HF techniques.
- Good initiative and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
