Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to perform audits, develop quality systems, and support NPI processes in the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 2 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of aviation legislation and quality systems. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant aerospace experience in repair/manufacturing or quality assurance role.
  • Holds a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform audits on Repair Source Substantiation packages.
  • Review audit results to identify trends for continuous improvement.
  • Develop quality system procedures for NPI process.

Skills

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform audits on Repair Source Substantiation (RSS) packages to verify repair characteristic accountability.
  • Review RSS audit results to identify trends and coordinate continuous improvement plans to improve NPI quality and first‑time yield.
  • Develop quality system procedures for NPI process to ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency of NPIs delivered by Engineering team.
  • Track and monitor post‑introduction NPIs for quality issues and drive Engineering / Shop for follow‑up improvements.
  • Act as a focal point for all NPI‑related queries and clarifications about Quality/regulatory requirements.
  • Support conduct of shop internal audit plan as necessary.
  • Drive and promote Quality culture and participate in EHS and other shop initiatives as necessary.
Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant aerospace experience in repair/manufacturing or a quality assurance role.
  • Knowledge of general aviation legislation and quality systems (ISO9001/AS9100).
  • Knowledge of repair/manufacturing fundamentals.
  • Holds a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma quality concepts and tools.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Basic knowledge of PC software (Microsoft Office).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing special processes (heat treat, welding, shot peening, coating, chemical processes, non‑conventional machining).
  • Knowledge of RCCA/HF techniques.
  • Good initiative and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
