Job summary

A laboratory equipment distributor in Singapore is seeking a Lab Technician to assist with laboratory operations, compile test documentation, and respond to customer inquiries. The ideal candidate should hold a Nitec or Higher Nitec in Biology, Engineering, or Chemistry, and knowledge of metallurgy analysis is a plus. Training will be provided for candidates without experience. This role offers a permanent position with a salary package consisting of a basic salary and variable bonus.

• Capable of compiling and summarizing data into clear and accurate test reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to laboratory and sales teams in daily operations.
• Compile and interpret analytical results into documentation for clients.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding laboratory services.
• Handle new lab functions based on clients' FA analysis requirements.
• Perform technical support as needed.
• Adhere to ISO standards and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by management.

• Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (8.30am – 6pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to laboratory and sales teams in daily operations.
• Compile and interpret analytical results into formal test documentation for clients.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to laboratory services and sales matters.
• Handle new lab functions based on clients’ FA analysis requirements.
• Perform technical, engineering, and application-related support as needed.
• Understand and adhere to ISO standards, environmental protocols, and workplace safety and health regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory when required.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by management.
