Job Description
  • Manage the group's financial reporting and forecasting processes, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Present financial performance to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into financial health and performance.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and lead the annual audit process. Liaise with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and maintain proper financial records.
  • Oversee the group's tax planning and compliance activities, working closely with external tax advisors.
  • Monitor and manage the group's cash flow and working capital to support ongoing operations and investment activities, providing financial analysis and advice to senior management.
  • Assess financial risks and implement risk mitigation measures. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to the finance team, supporting their professional development.
  • Work closely with the senior management team to provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A CPA qualification is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role. Within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards, with experience overseeing the audit process.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to provide financial insights to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to adapt to evolving business needs and regulatory changes in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with SAP and Xero is required.
