Job summary

A leading IT solutions company in Singapore is looking for a specialist to provide L2/L3 application support for Java-based applications in banking operations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 2-3 years of experience with Java/J2EE, SQL, and Linux/Unix systems. Strong analytical skills and good communication are essential. The role involves troubleshooting issues, documentation, and supporting deployments in a collaborative team environment.

  • Work closely with business users and technical teams to understand and resolve incidents.
  • Perform basic SQL queries to investigate data‑related issues.
  • Document recurring issues and workarounds in the knowledge base.
  • Support application deployment and change activities during scheduled releases.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or development teams.
