Job Summary

As a Software Developer, you will lead the development and maintenance of mobile applications by gathering requirements, delivering optimized solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and resolve production issues.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse requirements and specifications to define mobile application features and functionality
• Develop, build, test, and maintain mobile applications to meet business and user needs
• Brainstorm and implement innovative ideas to improve UX/UI and resolve bugs for enhanced user satisfaction
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to ensure application stability and performance
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate closely with Software Architects, UX/UI Designers, and other team members to align development with architectural and design standards
• Maintain existing applications by applying updates, patches, and improvements to ensure continued functionality

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience developing and implementing mobile applications
• Experience in mobile and web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android SDK, and Kotlin
• Knowledge and/or experience in Android development
• Ability to apply UI/UX concepts specifically for mobile devices to enhance user interaction
• Proficient in Java/Kotlin and IBM MQ programming within object‑oriented programming environments
• Experience working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server 2019
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and rapid prototyping techniques
