Job summary:

This position is responsible for system development and day-to-day support of the computer systems in the company, attending issues raised by users, hardware maintenance, network support and connectivity setup.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Web Development

• Design, develop and test applications.
• Drive requirement analysis, conceptive design and formulation of architecture, implementation, system integration, testing, documentation and deployment of new and existing applications.
• Maintain and enhance the functionality of web portal.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the web portal performance.
• Use version control systems eg. Git to manage codebase in collaboration with the team.

IT Support

• Provide technical support for internal and external users, including troubleshooting on hardware and software issues.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, include system administration and maintenance for Server, networks, workstations and Corporate ERP system.
• Install, configure and update software and hardware as needed.
• Ensure data backup and recovery systems are functioning properly.
• Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and able to thrive in team environment and works well with colleagues.

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years related experience in web development and IT support roles.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform is an advantage.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ASP.NET for web application development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database management and integration.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS and front-end framework eg. Bootstrap.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
