Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider is looking for an IT Service Technician in Singapore. This role includes performing maintenance and troubleshooting for the Video Management System (VMS). The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in IT and possess strong communication and documentation skills. Responsibilities also include responding to operational incidents and maintaining high service availability. Candidates must be willing to commit to a 12-hour rotational shift schedule and have the ability to obtain the required security clearance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Able to conduct technical maintenance and troubleshooting for Video Management Systems.
• Capable of writing daily maintenance reports.

About the job IT Service Technician / Engineer - East

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical maintenance and troubleshooting for the Video Management System (VMS), with a focus on Milestone XProtect, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Maintain critical systems to achieve high service availability and meet operational performance targets.
• Respond swiftly to onsite operational incidents, resolving issues in accordance with established SLAs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures, ensuring work is conducted without disruption to production.
• Proactively identify, report, and resolve system discrepancies, defects, and inconsistencies.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily maintenance reports.
• Conduct basic system and network troubleshooting tasks.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by supervisory personnel or management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Nitec in Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Strong documentation, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Technical Skills:
• (a) Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• (b) Basic knowledge of Windows servers and Milestone VMS system troubleshooting.
• (c) Foundational understanding of Local Area Networks, switch configurations, and VLANs.
• Able to commit to a 12 hour rotational shift schedule.
• Must be eligible and able to obtain the required security clearance for the project.
