The Information Technology Security Engineer supports the Lead IT Security Specialist in executing daily cybersecurity operations and implementing security projects. The role requires staying updated on evolving cyber threats and ensuring that the organization’s security defenses remain effective and well-maintained.

• Perform daily security operations and maintain security tools.
• Monitor, investigate, and elevate security events according to SLAs.

How to Succeed

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Preferred certifications: CEH, Security+, Cisco CyberOps Associate, or other relevant security certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security operations and security project management.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST frameworks, COBIT 5, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and OWASP Top 10.
• Familiarity with endpoint, email, network, cloud and perimeter security tools.
• Strong integrity, analytical thinking, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to be on 24/7 standby for incident response.
