Job Title: Manager, IT Infrastructure

Overview

The Manager of IT Infrastructure is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the IT team and supporting the execution of IT infrastructure projects and initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions, ensuring operational efficiency, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business objectives. The Manager works closely with senior leadership to implement strategic plans and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide IT team member in daily tasks and projects.
• Support staff development through coaching and training initiatives.
• Promote a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Manage the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Oversee infrastructure upgrades and deployments across 12 retail stores in Singapore, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Track project progress and resolve issues promptly to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare regular status reports for senior leadership.
• Work with business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
• Communicate project updates and technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist in evaluating and deploying new infrastructure technologies aligned with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance and security standards.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT roles, including project management.
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure projects for retail environments, including network upgrades, POS systems, and store connectivity.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.Familiarity with data protection regulations and IT governance standards.
