Position: IT Business Analyst (Insurance)

Well Established Singapore-Based Private Limited Company

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Employment Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,500

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather and validate information.
  • Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop workflow diagrams, data models, and propose optimized solutions.
  • Work with IT and business teams to design solutions that meet objectives and user needs.
  • Support project planning, tracking, and delivery across timelines and resources.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
  • Track and resolve issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Assist in implementing change management strategies, training, and user documentation.
  • Maintain clear communication between business units and IT through regular meetings and reports.
  • Analyse and interpret data to support business decisions.
  • Prepare concise reports and insights for management and stakeholders.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMI -PBA certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT environment.
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Required for occasional overtime.
