Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an IT Administrator to provide comprehensive support at the project site office. The successful candidate will manage IT hardware and software updates, prepare user guides, and liaise with vendors. A diploma in IT or relevant field and 5+ years of experience in an IT environment are required. IT Administrator (Project Site Office)
Responsibilities
  • Provide end-user support for all IT services, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting; monitor systems such as CCTV and networks; and perform scheduled weekly and monthly data backups.
  • Perform installation, removal, and updates of IT hardware (such as PCs, networks, printers, servers) and software, including operating systems, office applications, antivirus programs, and AutoCAD.
  • Prepare SOPs and self-help guides for users and conduct training when necessary.
  • Maintain and update all IT inventories.
  • Manage and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
  • Assist in IT-related projects and activities.
  • Closely monitor job progress, follow up, and resolve all cases or issues raised.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
  • To communicate with Joint Venture staff to understand and manage security systems.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in IT or a relevant field, majoring in Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in an IT environment.
  • Proficient in Windows OS, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, data migration, and printer driver setup.
  • Willing to work at a construction project site office.
  • Able to perform tasks independently, follow through on assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and liaison skills with all stakeholders.
