Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end design and development of physical deliverable iron ore futures, including contract specifications, delivery mechanisms, quality standards, and settlement processes
  • Conduct market research to identify user needs, demand potential, and competitive positioning
  • Build the product roadmap, including enhancements, new contract variants, and ecosystem features
  • Engage with miners, steel mills, traders, brokers, financial institutions, logistics providers, and clearing members to validate product design and gain adoption
  • Present product concepts and updates to internal committees, external partners, and regulatory authorities
  • Develop relationships with market participants to increase liquidity and market depth
  • Define and oversee the design of physical delivery processes: delivery method (FOB/CFR), assay procedures, delivery documentation, quality/grade parameters, shipping terms, and logistics coordination
  • Work closely with risk, clearing, operations, and legal teams to ensure robust delivery and settlement workflows
  • Establish criteria for approved brands, warehouses, and inspection agencies
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies including pricing, marketing, liquidity incentives, and educational content
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as open interest, volume, delivery rates, participant diversity, and revenue contribution.
  • Propose improvements based on market feedback and competitive analysis
Qualifications
