A leading asset management firm based in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to lead institutional fundraising efforts while managing key relationships with insurance and investment stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in institutional fundraising within the private credit space. This role involves engaging with senior leadership to develop fund strategies and drive capital raising efforts across APAC markets. Strong communication skills and a proven track record in the industry are essential.
IFS Asset Management (IFSAM) is a Singapore-based private credit manager focused on secured, asset-backed lending strategies. We are seeking an experienced institutional capital professional to lead fundraising across institutional and insurance investors, supporting both our Singapore private credit strategies and future APAC-focused private credit funds.
This role will work closely with the CIO and senior management team on capital raising, investor engagement, and product positioning.
Lead capital raising from:
Insurance companies
Pension funds
Endowments and foundations
Institutional family offices
Reinsurers and balance-sheet investors
Develop and manage long-term relationships with CIOs, alternatives heads, and investment committees
Drive anchor and cornerstone investments for new fund launches
Engage foundation and NGO boards with a strong focus on capital preservation
Own and manage institutional DDQs, RFPs, and IC processes
Coordinate investment, risk, and operations teams during due diligence
Support on-site and virtual investment committee presentations
Maintain high-quality ongoing engagement with institutional investors
Support reporting aligned with governance expectations.
Work with CIO and investment team on:
Structuring institutional-grade fund vehicles
Insurance-friendly features (liquidity, duration, risk metrics)
Future APAC private credit strategies
Provide investor feedback into fund design, terms, and positioning
Build relationships with:
Institutional consultants
Insurance platforms
Strategic capital partners
Support development of co-investment, managed account, or bespoke mandates
10–15 years of experience in institutional fundraising, private credit, or alternatives
Proven track record raising capital from institutional and/or insurance investors
Strong understanding of private credit, secured lending, and credit risk
Familiarity with Asia / APAC markets preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and ICs
