Job summary

A leading design firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to work on exciting mixed-use, retail, and commercial projects across the Asia Pacific. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creativity, a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, and at least three years of experience in a multi-discipline design firm. Responsibilities include leading the documentation process, preparing presentations, and mentoring team members. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a design firm.
• Strong experience in space planning and technical drawing production.
• Ability to mentor and lead a creative team.

Responsibilities

• Lead documentation of SD/DD drawings and monitor work.

• You will be working on exciting Mix-Use, Retail and Commercial projects for our Top Tier Clients
• You will get involved in projects across Asia Pacific
• You will brain storm with a team of young, bright, and truly creative designers to create unique interior designs
• You will be given the freedom to fully express your creative genius
• You will lead Documentation of SD/DD drawings and monitor work by drafting team
• You will prepare presentations from concept stage to DD stage
• You will lead client presentations and attend project meetings
• You will be expected to guide the team to realize their ideas
• You will be mentored, coached and trained to ensure your career success

What You Will Need

• A Bachelor degree in Interior Design or equivalent, with good knowledge and skills of “interior architecture”
• At least 3 years’ relevant working experience, some in a large-scale multi-discipline design firm
• A passion to be truly creative and a strong desire to work collaboratively in a team with great designers
• Strong experience in space planning/conceptual design/sketching/technical coordination and drawing production
• Previous experience of managing and developing a creative team is essential
• A passion to teach and support the younger members of the team
• Ability to independently present to clients and win their trust
• Fluent communication skills in English and Mandarin
